Reasons to Give

There are many ways to support the important work of OUTwest Lubbock, both by contributing your time and talents as a volunteer and/or through your generous financial support.

Financial Support

You can make a difference in Lubbock and the surrounding South Plains with a gift to OUTwest Lubbock.  Understanding the motivation behind the gifts allows us to provide contributors with maximum returns on their investments. We like to know why our supporters choose to give in various ways. The motivation behind every decision to donate is different for every person.

OUTwest Lubbock accepts gifts of cash or check. We are in the process of establishing our organization as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization; therefore donations are not tax-deductible for federal income tax purposes at this time. (More information to come) 

To meet donor needs, OUTwest Lubbock offers several convenient vehicles for giving:

Wills & Bequests - If you are drafting or revising a will, consider naming OUTwest Lubbock as a beneficiary of your estate. A gift in your will is the easiest and often the most economical way to leave a permanent impact.

Honorary & Memorial Gifts - What better way to salute friends, family, and loved ones than by making a donation in their honor or memory? We will gladly notify the honoree or the family/friend of the honoree of your generosity.

A gift In-Kind - OUTwest Lubbock keeps expenses low by existing in the virtual world and using items that have been donated. Since we do not have an actual space to host programs and special events we welcome buildings, rooms, and other spaces that others may have on a case-by-case basis.
