Volunteering

We have many opportunities for members to get involved with OUTwest Lubbock. We are looking for volunteers to put a few hours each month into the following positions:

• OUTwest Lubbock Advisory Committee
• Committee Chair & Co-Chairs (coordinate/establish events throughout the year: Monthly Meetings)
• Support Through Monetary Gift/Donation

OUTwest Lubbock Advisory Committee
President & Board Co-Chairs
(coordinate funding and facilitate building community visibility: 8hrs/month) 

Treasurer
(monitor accounts and budget: 8hrs/month)

OUTwest Lubbock Staff
Executive Director
(oversee financial, program, and operational management of a largely volunteer organization: 20hrs/month)

Program Coordinator 
(organize monthly meetings, educational programs, and social events: 10hrs/month)

Marketing & Outreach Coordinator 
(coordinate, communicate, implement and evaluate outreach programs within the South Plains area: 10hrs/month)

Graphic Designer 
(design event flyers, posters, newsletters, website, etc: 5hrs/month)

Grant Writer 
(aid our fundraising committee in facilitating grant proposals: 5hrs/month)

Researcher
(search potential funding opportunities, legal advice, and other resources: 3hrs/month)

Contacts Database Manager 
(monitor member email and mailing list: 3hrs/month)

Special Projects
(coordinate specific events to your special interest group: Monthly/Annual)
