The OUTwest Lubbock Pride Committee is a coalition of Community Advocates, Activists and Leaders; and Advocates, Activists, Leaders and Departments from the Texas Tech University Campus. The GLBTQ & Ally Community works together to plan educational, supportive and celebratory events for the GLBTQ Community, raise funds for these events and promote these events.

To become a member of the committee email us at contact@outwestlubbock.org with "Volunteer PRIDE Committee" in the subject line of your email.

The OUTwest Lubbock Pride Committee meets regularly to plan, publicize, support, and coordinate events that support, educate and celebrate the gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning and allies community of the South Plains.

If you or someone you know would like to become more involved and serve on the Pride Committee here are the following open positions we currently have available.

Occupied Committee positions:

• Committee Chair (Gabriel Pancerzewski)
• Publicity Chair (Andrew Husband)
  

Vacant Committee positions:

• Fundraising Chair – The Fundraising Committee is charged with general and targeted fundraising for the OUTwest Lubbock Pride Committee
  
  
• Events Chair – The Events Committee is charged with planning and coordinating Educational, Supportive and Celebratory events for the OUTwest Lubbock Pride Committee throughout the year.
  
  
• Secretary – This person is responsible for taking notes at the monthly meetings, typing them up and sharing them on this groupsite. This is a very important position but very relaxed also.
  
  

Please consider serving as a volunteer or nominate someone you think we should approach to serve on the committee. Everyone can help!

Note: We also welcome members that want to serve as support for the committee to also attend. You do not have to be a “chair” or hold a position to be a part of the meeting.

Include the person's first and last name, position you are nominating them for, and the best contact information you have for them (email or mailing address).
